What If You Didn’t Have to Figure It All Out?

Have you ever noticed that the harder you try to solve a problem, the more confused your thinking becomes?

I came across a passage in the Seth Material this week that reminded me of something I often forget: the human mind doesn't have all the answers.

I won't get into the weeds regarding the science and biology behind that fact, but I will say that your mind does have an important job. It helps you choose the goals, experiences, and direction you'd like your life to take. It can decide what you value, what you'd like to create, and how you want to feel. But it isn't responsible for figuring out exactly how everything will unfold.

That job belongs to something much wiser.

Whether you call it your Higher Self, your soul, or inner being, there is a wiser part of you that already sees possibilities your human mind cannot. It understands the timing. It recognizes opportunities before you do. It knows how seemingly unrelated events can come together in ways you could never have planned or imagined.

The wisdom we need is far more available within us than most of us realize.

Our job is to choose the direction. Our inner wisdom knows the way. Our only challenge is that we often don't let it help.

When we become consumed by worry or obsess over the lack of control over a situation, we keep trying to force a solution from a limited perspective. Sometimes all we can see is the worst possible outcome, and our attention starts reinforcing the very future we hope to avoid.

What if, instead, you loosened your grip on the problem, or the need to control every detail of a goal, and let the wiser, way-more-connected-to-everything part of you take over? That doesn't mean becoming passive. It means continuing to take the next step that's in front of you while trusting that you don't have to force every answer to appear today.

Again and again, I've found that clarity arrives after I stop chasing it. The right conversation happens. An unexpected opportunity appears. A new idea quietly surfaces while I'm taking a walk, driving, or even grocery shopping.

Perhaps that's how our inner wisdom has always worked.

So today, I'd like to leave you with a simple question: Where in your life could you release just a little of the worry...and trust that a wiser part of you is already working on your behalf?
